Sweater: Forever 21 | Leggings: Zella | Flats: a Utah-based boutique (similar here and here) | Hat: Forever 21 | Watch: Marc by Marc Jacobs | Handbag: Target

Now that I’m in the second half of my pregnancy, I’ve noticed I have a sort of “pregnancy uniform” because I typically stick to wearing only a few particular items of my closet. Although they may be functional for maternity wear (like my leggings) they aren’t always that stylish on their own. So I have found ways to make what currently fits me (and my growing baby bump) instantly look more chic with just a few accessorizing tricks:

Handbags. As practical as a handbag can be, it can also add a stylish touch to your outfit. Lately I’ve been trying to invest in bags that are quality made, that will last a while, and that I absolutely love.  Since I currently carry sippy cups and Goldfish crackers along with my own necessities, sometimes a really reasonably priced handbag that looks more than it costs will also find its way home with me 🙂 Regardless of what your budget is like, an amazing looking handbag can instantly add style to your outfit. I lucked out and found this gorgeous handbag and couldn’t resist its affordable price.

Shoes. Shoes can make or break an outfit, and if you’re already trying to spruce up a boring outfit make sure your shoe choice isn’t boring as well. In this instance, I chose these leopard print T-strap flats because they combine the brown and black colors I’m wearing really well (and leopard print is basically a neutral itself in my mind).

Hats. As a mom of two (and a half), I don’t always have as much time in the mornings to style my hair. But as soon as I put a hat on my head it looks like I put more time into my look when all I did was literally put a hat on my head.

Hope this helps you style up your outfits! Thanks for reading!

xo, Sara
