I’m super excited for the fall season, so I’ve put together a list of activities I want to do that would be perfect during fall!

Fall Activities Bucket List Back to School

My little Grant started school this year! Is it just me, or does school nowadays start earlier and earlier into the year than they use to? Even though he has been in school for a few weeks now, I still can’t believe he is even big enough to be in school. The night before his first day, I wanted our family to start a tradition of a back to school feast. I thought this would be a great way to get him excited to start school and create a special night for our family to end the summer season with. Since my kids are still pretty young I didn’t want to make it quite a big ordeal or set super high expectations for future years. I put together just a few decorations and stuck with food I knew we would all enjoy and not fight over eating.

Since today is the first day of fall, I thought I’d write down a list of other fall activities I’m looking forward to doing this season:

Go apple picking

Have a tailgating party and watch some football

Start a bonfire and eat smores

Bake an apple pie

Take a scenic walk (or drive) to enjoy the fall leaves

Bake pumpkin chocolate chip cookies

Visit a pumpkin patch

Dress up for Halloween and take the kids trick or treating

Carve pumpkins

Attend a fall festival

Watch Hocus Pocus

Drink apple cider and hot cocoa

Make a gratitude pumpkin

Learn how to cook a new dish for Thanksgiving

I’m sure there will be plenty of other things I will want to do as the season goes on, I love this time of year! Is there something I forgot that I should add to my list?

Thanks for reading!
