As a partner of the Real Fashion for Real People campaign, I designed this adorable gingham dress (with pockets!) to be custom made by eShakti and it fits me so perfectly!

As a new mama that has been pregnant, postpartum, nursing and weaning two babies, I think it’s safe to say that my body has experienced a lot of changes over the last few years.  I am so grateful that I have a healthy and strong body that can bear and raise smart and beautiful children (if I do say so myself).  It’s definitely not the same body I had pre-parenthood, and I confess I struggle staying positive about it.  It’s not that I don’t eat right and exercise when I can, but I have realized that my body doesn’t just bounce right back as quickly as I wish it would. Usually I don’t let this affect me too much because deep down I know I am so much more than my physical looks.  But sometimes when I’m getting dressed or shopping for clothes I become acutely aware of my fluctuating body size and type.

Then I experienced eShakti.

I received this custom made gingham dress from eShakti after I had sent them my body measurements, sleeve and skirt length preferences.  I selected this particular dress because gingham is so on point this spring and summer, and the print mixing gave it a whimsical twist, I love how it turned out!  Having this dress fit me (and not a generic sizing method) is so much more flattering than trying to squeeze into something too small or swimming in something that is too big. And would you have guessed that the total cost was less than $100 for this custom made dress?!  I always thought having an item of clothing custom made (especially a dress) would be super expensive, but that’s not the case with eShakti.  And because everyone should love what they wear at any size, eShakti is also sharing a 10% off purchase promo code for all Style Savvy Sara readers!  So whether you are just browsing their online shop or you want something you’ll look and feel good wearing (because it will fit you in all of the right places!) use promo code stylesavvysara when shopping with eShakti. You can also follow eShakti on Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter for more deals and updates on new arrivals and sales.

Happy shopping!

xo, Sara
